Members who pay by credit card, will now have the option of setting up an auto-renewal process. By selecting auto-renewal, the NSBA will automatically extend member benefits-without the hassle of completing a dues statement each year.

To pay your 2016 dues online, follow these steps 1) Log-In to your NSBA Account. 2) Locate and click on the **Renew Your Membership Now** link. 3) Review your contact information and complete the online dues statement. 4) Submit payment.

In 2016, the NSBA will be reestablishing its Lawyer Referral Service via a new website: The new service will allow the NSBA to both provide attorneys with a low-cost marketing opportunity and to help connect members of the public with legal services. The Lawyer Referral Service will be live on or before January 1, 2016. The webpage will allow the public to search for attorneys by city, county, area of practice, and language. To participate in Nebraska Find-A-Lawyer, complete and return the application form to the Nebraska State Bar Association, along with the appropriate registration fees, and the requisite certificate of insurance addressed to the NSBA or with a copy of the declaration page of your policy showing that you carry the requisite professional liability insurance.

VLP Paralegal: The paralegal works under the direct supervision of Director of the Volunteer Lawyers Project (VLP). The paralegal provides administrative support to the VLP Director for VLP programs, assists with VLP self-help centers and clinics, and assists the Director with recruiting, training, and supervising volunteer attorneys and non-lawyer interns. This position performs other duties as assigned by the VLP Director or Nebraska State Bar Association (NSBA) management. This is a full-time exempt position. Duties are generally performed Monday-Friday during the hours 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Some evening and Saturday work days required. This position requires occasional travel outside Lincoln to facilitate and attend program activities and events, which requires a valid driver’s license and reliable, insured motor vehicle.
